Anyone who knows me, knows how much of a gadget freak I am. I wouldn't say that I'm at the forefront of gadget ownership, but I do have more gadgets that I think is good for me. This is a list of my more valuable (to me) gadgets.

On the right is my MDA Vario (aka HTC Wizard), connected to the T-Mobile network in the UK. This particular phone runs Windows Mobile 2005, has a colour screen, infrared, Bluetooth, WiFi, a built-in camera, Windows Media Player, Internet Explorer (of sorts), J2ME, and much more.
This is my 11th mobile phone. I have had the following phones:
The change from Orange (after 9 years) to T-Mobile was driven firstly by the fact that they wouldn't allow Caroline to have a free upgrade to her phone, even though her overall account charges were greater than mine, because her monthly line rental was significantly lower. Secondly, they couldn't match/beat the data package on T-Mobile.
I got a GPS Receiver and Co-Pilot software as part of my phone bundle, but because I can't find a decent picture of the receiver, it doesn't deserve its own mention!
I now have an excellent opportunity to plug PocketLJ, the LiveJournal client for mobile devices that I have developed.

This is my new Fuji Finepix S7000 Zoom digital camera. This is my third digital camera, the previous ones being the Fuji Finepix 2800 Zoom, and the FujiFilm 1200MX... both good cameras (for their time), but not for the kind of pictures I wanted to take.

I was the proud owner of a Swatch .beat Aluminium - picture to the left. Caroline and I bought each other Swatches when we were in Malta on our honeymoon.
Unfortunately, one of the buttons from the watch fell off. Apparently, Swatch changed their guarantee period from one to two years on 1 January 2002. We bought these watches on 27 December 2001! Luckily, they were understanding, and replaced the watch under warranty. Unfortunately, the watch (and indeed the entire range) had become obsolete, so I had the choice of absolutely anything in the Irony Collection. The picture on the right is that of the watch I selected - the Seaquake! :o)
More gadgets to follow soon...
